DAY 1 FINISHING AID - RTU

DAY1® Finishing Aid Brickform DAY1 is a colloidal silica-based finishing aid that makes concrete flatwork finishing easier and faster. It produces a better result and reduces the risk of a prematurely setting slab. Applied during floating and troweling, DAY1 finishing aid increases cream and extends workability under adverse conditions such as high wind, heat, or low humidity. It eliminates the need to add water to the surface which can lead to premature surface failure. DAY1 does not alter the water-to-cement ratio and becomes a permanent part of the slab so there is no membrane or residue to remove.

DAYTON B-16 3/4 X 6" STRAIGHT COIL LOOP INSERT

Although simple in design and fabrication, the B16 Straight Coil Loop Insert is highly efficient for lifting and handling precast concrete elements. Standard inserts are shown in the chart. Special inserts for use with larger diameter coil bolts, or with loops having longer lengths and of heavier wire can be furnished, if required, on special order

DAYTON B-18 3/4" X 6" FLARED COIL LOOP INSERT

The load carrying capacity of any cast-in-place concrete insert is largely dependent upon the ability of the insert to draw upon the tensile strength of the mass of concrete within which it is embedded. The B18 Single Flared Coil Loop Insert makes effective use of this principle by increasing the depth and width of concrete embedment. B18 inserts are available with an optional B3 Screw-on Coil for use with the B30 Screw-on Plastic Cone which acts to set the insert back from the face of the concrete. Minimum spacing between inserts is twice the corner distance.

DAYTON BAR

The A95 - Dayton Bar is manufactured with a 1” x 2” structural tube handle that has been carefully Mig welded to a heat-treated milled blade. This bar is an ideal tool for use by the tilt-up erector— you will find many uses for it, from adjusting and/or stripping side forms to “jockeying” tilt-up wall panels into position. Available with either a 3” or 5” wide blade. Please specify blade width when ordering.

DAYTON F - 42 3/4" LTT INSERT - NC THREADS

The Dayton Superior F-42 Loop Ferrule Insert is fabricated by welding a looped strut to a closed-end ferrule. F-42 insert is available in the sizes shown in the chart and is well suited for structural connections and the suspension of equipment, piping, etc. Minimum spacing between inserts is twice the minimum corner distance.
