BACKER ROD TOOL

Use the Albion Backer Rod Insertion Tool to quickly and accurately set polythylene foam rods in expansion and control joints.

The tool is adjustable for placing rod at any designed depth.

This #640-3 set includes a standard tool #640-5 with 4 depth setting wheels for 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ wide joints plus a #640-6 corner model (for cove joints) with four depth setting wheels for 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″ wide joints.

Smooth plastic wheels ensure no puncturing of the rod skin.

Handle is threaded to accept the tamping blade (included) or a standard extension pole.
